The Living Library

The Living Library allows people who have an experience they’d like to share to have a one on one or small group conversation with teens or young adults to help foster human connection and empathy toward different perspectives and bridge the gap between people on different sides of the political spectrum.

Previous Storytellers

Elinor Takenaga - describes working at the New York Public Library and her journey to becoming trilingual.

Shazia Razzaq - an expatriate from Britain, describes her journey immigrating to the United States, coping with loneliness, and finding a new community. 

Grace Fidler - details a religious encounter that saved her from drowning off the rocky coast of Maine with her family.
